This is a new build project comprising seven houses on a triangular site in the Hong Kong. It is a mixed development allowing for flexible use of the units as flats with the option of shops below. The aim of this project is to provide improved living for village residents. The challenge is creating a design that intelligently utilises this tight site and reflects the village’s traditional values, in the brick materials and colours of the development, in a contemporary manner.

We are seamlessly incorporating AC units into the fabric of the building and have designed balconies and roof shades consisting of solar panels to generate renewable energy whilst minimising overheating and maximising views.
